Angela Pham, PA-C, is a dedicated physician assistant with expertise in internal medicine and urology. She is passionate about improving her patients’ lives through compassionate, evidence-based care. Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, Angela’s interest in medicine began while volunteering at Bob Mann Medical Clinic, a local non-profit clinic.
Angela earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she developed an interest in esophageal cancer gene expression research. Her introduction to urology came through her aunt, a urologic surgical first assistant in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Angela also worked as a medical scribe at Urology Partners of North Texas, assisting Dr. Vestal and Dr. Bevan-Thomas. There, she saw firsthand the joy patients experienced when their quality of life improved and found fulfillment in supporting patients through difficult times.
She later furthered her education at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania, earning her Master of Medical Science degree. Throughout her studies, she gained valuable experience in healthcare settings across Illinois, New Jersey, and Rome, Italy. Although open to all specialties during her clinical training, she was once again drawn to urology, finding deep satisfaction in assisting with urological procedures and alleviating acute pain.
“Cancer is something that is very personal to me,” Angela says. Having witnessed the impact of cancer on many of her loved ones, she understands how overwhelming and scary a diagnosis can be. These experiences drive her to take the time to guide patients through their journey, providing not only medical care but also emotional support. “Being able to offer knowledge and clarity during what can be the most difficult time of one’s life can make a profound difference in a patient’s outlook and quality of life. I find fulfillment in helping patients during some of the most troubling and intimate moments of their lives,” Angela shares. Whether it’s treating acute urological issues or managing chronic conditions, Angela is driven by the desire to improve the well-being of all her patients.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys learning new recipes, traveling with her partner, and making new memories with family and friends.
